Yay! I finished The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I really thought it was interesting, but different. She sure has an imagination, especially the part about the other worlds Wanderer has lived on. At first I was thinking, this sounds like weird stuff I could've made up when I was 4, and here is SM making beaucoup bucks on it. Who'da thunk? It just goes to show you, let your imagination and creativity take you where you want to go in life, and don't ever think your ideas are stupid!! Seriously though she is an excellent writer, and it's an easy read. Let me know what you thought of it guys!!

I actually really liked the Host. I wasn't sure how she was going to end it but I was pleased at how it worked out. Have you read the Twilight series? I know they a YA books but they are good as well. I didn't like the fourth book as much as the other three but still entertaining. If you have any good books or authors to recommend, I would love to hear about them!
I like the new look! I've heard this book is really good! I'll let you know what I think once I get my hands on a copy or get an audio download. Though, it could be another year or 2 before I actually get to read it. I FINALLY just finished listening to the last Harry Potter book!
Emily read this book and really liked it. She has read all of her books and can't wait for the Twilight movie in December.
Tiff, my friend is an author, Crystal Liechty. She wrote "The First Year" and you can get it at Deseret Book. She recommends Orson Scott Card. She suggests starting with Ender's Game or Lost Boys. Lost Boys is slightly more depressing, there are some
definite sad elements and Enders Game is very scifi but it won several awards. (haven't read them yet!)
Do you like Nicholas Sparks? I just read "Dear John." Have you read any Ann Rule books? They are true crime novels, try "And Never Let Her Go." What about you, what do you recommend?
