Wow, my baby is ten years old, I can't believe it! Yesterday we had his birthday bash. He tried to plan the whole thing but I told him that I, as a mom, have the prerogative to make SOME of the decisions. I don't think I've ever known such a thoughtful 10-year-old. He is so conscious of other people's feelings, of their time and their money. He is just so polite and sweet :) The party turned out great! We had a popcorn machine, a cotton candy machine, a wheel of fortune spinning numbers game, and a golf challenge game thanks to Char and Diamond Rental! The boys loved having their "tournament" with the golf game, and we had prizes for the winners. It got pretty competitive. Thanks to Rus and Joe for putting it together and setting everything up. Last year I did it all myself, and it was PURE stress, maybe that's why Gar told me not to get anything from D. Rental. NOTE to self:....always schedule the birthday party when dad can be there to help :)
