Rusty's performance was awesome. He played flawlessly! It's amazing because the orchestra (union members from Utah Symphony and the ballet symphony) played like they had practiced for days, but in reality the first time they even saw the music was a few hours before performance. Rus went in at 4:00 to rehearse with them. He had a few spots where he messed up just a tiny bit, so after he went and practiced the problem spots over and over. It paid off, because he played absolutely flawlessly; I'm sure he was on a "music high." I could tell he was feeling really good about it. We celebrated and all went out to eat afterwards. I don't know when I'll have the recording they made, but anyone that is interested can have a copy :)
