Meet Mrs. Barky Van Schnauzer, a.k.a. "Missy" or "Barky". Isn't she adorable?? She is 8 weeks old and came to live with us two days ago. She is a shih tzu puppy, which we chose because of their more mild temperament. Wish us luck as we go through the house training phase. I heard it can take up to a year! Everyone says it's like having a baby! It's true! She keep us up at night, and it's all about getting her on a schedule. But she is so cute that we can't help but love her. I named her in jest, after the commercial (Mr. Barky Van Schnauzer) that Joe has been laughing about. And the name just stuck!
Oh, and PS, this all came about because Char is so baby hungry she can't stand it. Well I guess a puppy is the next best thing! She can't keep it at her apartment, so this is kind of hers and ours together. We're still surprised she talked us into it so quickly. We'd kinda been wanting one, but just didn't think it would happen so fast. Kinda like other things in life huh!
