Char and I went to the Women's Conf. on May 1-2. We had a blast! We stayed in the dorms, which are OLD, but Char survived. Char and I had fun being silly and scrapbooking (hers - I can't seem to get into my own anymore) and went out for a late night ice-cream run. She introduced me to a strawberry ice drink at Starbucks - YUM. We had fun shopping at the bookstore - Char found the cutest picture of a little boy with the Savior, she just had to buy it!
Last year, I met a girl in one of my classes that was SO sweet, I call her my angel friend because she offered me some words of comfort and wisdom. But somehow we didn't exchange emails or anything and I was so mad! So guess who I was standing in line RIGHT next to at the bookstore?? My angel friend! So I of course talked to her and told her how much she helped me, and got her email (a coincidence?? I think not!) Then I ran into a long-lost friend from California that I haven't had any contact with for 16 years. We had some catching up to do and it was really fun to reconnect. I was already a believer in Neal A. Maxwell's adage "God govern's the intersections of our lives..." but that just solidified it.

That sounds like so much fun. Chars all grown up and now you dont need to find a friend to go with-you always have one! It looks like you had a good time. I'm jealous!
